Watchmaker IWC Schaffhausen announces Sonam Kapoor as Ambassador for India
January 17, 2017: Swiss luxury watch manufacturer IWC Schaffhausen has officially announced Indian actress Sonam Kapoor as a brand ambassador.
The Indian star is known for the various roles she has portrayed in Indian films, with her most recent biopic “Neerja”, garnering many accolades from critics and fans alike. Ms Kapoor supports various charities and causes such as raising awareness for breast cancer and LGBT rights.
Ms Kapoor is also the brand ambassador for international cosmetics manufacturing company L’Oreal, among other brands.
To kick-start the partnership, Ms Kapoor will be present at the 27th Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie (SIHH) in Geneva in 2017 alongside other prestigious guests and IWC brand ambassadors from across the world.
