Visionnaire presents India-inspired exclusive capsule collection

Home brand Visionnaire's capsule collection Pavone - designed by Marc Ange, is inspired by the Indian peacock

February 11, 2020: Celebrating the symbiosis between art and design, the Italian luxury lifestyle brand Visionnaire, unveils Pavone, a capsule collection designed by Los Angeles- based artist and designer Marc Ange. The Pavone Capsule Collection is an evocative narrative from Visionnaire that can be noted as the third installment in a series of original initiatives in 2019-20, created to commemorate the brand’s 15th anniversary.

Visionnaire's Pavone collection features the Pavone throne and five Pavone armchairs. When tasked with designing a capsule collection for Visionnaire, Mr. Ange drew inspiration from his recent travels to India, where multiple encounters with peacocks galvanized research on the
animal’s behaviour and commitment to beauty. In consistency with the designer’s tendency for the extraordinary, his interpretation of Visionnaire’s world comes to life through an allegorical display of the romantic peacock, which to him embodies Visionnaire’s unique eye for beauty and luxury.

A personification of the peacock, the pieces depict the animal’s resplendent beauty using Visionnaire’s bespoke fabrics and materials. The Pavone throne is crafted with 1970’s vintage-inspired camel leather, vibrant blue and green custom Visionnaire fabrics, and brass coated in regal bronze plating. The Pavone Armchair series is presented as a fleet of five, an aesthetically conservative version of the solitaire throne. The armchairs share the brilliant fabrics seen in the throne, but with a more contemporary silhouette.
