The timepiece clad in pink gold invokes a sense of adventure and discovery, coupled with elegance.
October 12, 2023: In association with American artist Zaria Forman, watchmaker Vacheron Constantin has introduced the "One of Not Many" campaign. To honor the unique collaboration, the Swiss brand introduced a new self-winding Overseas in pink gold.
This remarkable timepiece boasts a slender, sporty-chic design with a 35 mm diameter and is powered by the impressive Calibre 1088/1. Notably, the movement features a stop-second mechanism, ensuring precise time adjustments, and a substantial 40-hour power reserve.
Versatility is a hallmark of this watch, with its two interchangeable bracelets and buckle system that effortlessly adapts to various occasions. Every detail on the open caseback is a work of art, with meticulously crafted rear bridges embellished with Côtes de Genève, and the iconic rotor, sculpted in gold, adorned with a compass rose, symbolizing perpetual change and the spirit of exploration.
Zaria Forman is a New York-based artist, who explores the world's remotest areas, capturing landscapes through her camera. For more than 15 years, she has gathered memories and images, translating them into breathtaking pastel works on large paper. Her art graces global museums and galleries. Ms. Forman’s process involves thousands of photos and videos during expeditions.
Louis Ferla, CEO of Vacheron Constantin, explains, "The quest for excellence and a taste for adventure, passion and innovation, elegance and tradition, art and culture in all their forms have characterized the spirit of our Maison since its founding in 1755. This visionary, sensitive, and demanding outlook is reflected in Zaria Forman's artistic approach and territory of expression. She is a socially committed artist keenly aware that art conveys emotions and eager to share beauty with the public.”
