Tom Ford launches first store in India in New Delhi

November 20, 2010: Tom Ford launched his luxury menswear designs to the Indian sub-continent with the opening of a new store at DLF Emporio Mall, New Delhi. The low-key, subtle event was characteristic of the Tom Ford philosophy. The 1,800 sq feet standalone Tom Ford store will offer a complete range of menswear, eyewear, fragrance and accessories.

Ritesh Kumar, the Director of DS Sons and the Indian Franchisee for Tom Ford Menswear said, “Indian luxury clothing aficionados are now ready for a breath of fresh air in menswear. I am confident that anyone who wears Tom Ford will be wearing the brand for life”.

Conceived by Ford and designed by long time associate, William Sofield, the New Delhi store is an elegant and private environment in which men are assisted in building a personalized wardrobe including the finest shirting to made-to-measure and custom made suiting, to hand-crafted shoes, luggage and sportswear.

The store sports a white marble floor and macassar wood with walls paneled in gray suede. The store is divided into several areas, each dedicated to a different area of Tom Ford Menswear. The Made-to-Measure suiting salon will be available to Tom Ford customers from December. All elements integrate beautifully to create the Tom Ford store and to elevate the experience of selecting clothes.
