Tod's showcases the restored Italian film Sciuscia

November 3, 2011: Going forward with its commitment for Italian art and culture, Tod's hosted a special event to present the restoration of the film "Sciuscia" by Vittorio De Sica. The event was attended by many celebrities and VIP guests.

This film, produced in 1946, is a masterpiece of the international cinema's history and of neo-realism. Awarded with the Oscar in 1947, it is a result of the genius of Vittorio De Sica and a symbol of the Italian culture's creativity and power.

Movies like Sciuscia (Shoeshine) are a part of the Italian heritage and tradition, and Tod’s has committed itself to protecting it and to passing it on to the young generations, transmitting the fundamental values at the base of the strength of Italy.
