October 6, 2022: Slashed jerseys, gang busting hoodies and black lipstick defined a presentation that was not for good girls.
Donatella Versace’s summer was not beachy, but more gothic as models streamed out in dark shades, zebra prints and diamond slashed denims. The neon yellow and hot pinks towards the end added some colour, but the attitude was clear.
The hoodie is replaced with veils, making for a dark bride like scenario. Leather dresses and biker chic jackets add a rebel assertiveness.
Versace takes its characteristic boldness to another level with this unique collection. Always for the young at heart, Versace has aced the millennial outlook.
Ending with Paris Hilton walking the stage, her pink sequined dress with lace showing underneath is no Barbie doll look. We loved the brashness!
