The Leela Palace Delhi won gold at Icons of Whisky Awards

February 7, 2012: The Library at The Leela Palace New Delhi was acknowledged as the Best Whisky Bar in India for offering the most outstanding whisky collection in the country. The gold certification was conferred at a glittering ceremony which was attended by the capital's crème de la crème and who's who of the hospitality industry. The Library boasts of 129 finest and exclusive whiskies from across the world and deservingly earned the title after competing with over 500 premier hotels and bars in India.

At Icons of Whisky India, the invited entries were shortlisted by a team of experts in UK and India. An online poll was conducted for guests to rate their favourite whisky bars. The results were collated and audited by an independent market research company.
