Taking a step towards retail innovation, IWC Schaffhausen is offering its customers a seamless online experience
September 4, 2020: In a bid to advance their global customer experience, Swiss luxury watchmaker IWC Schaffhausen has announced the launch of their new virtual boutique. The exquisite virtual store draws inspiration from the lavish interiors of the IWC boutique at The Galleria Al Maryah Island shopping centre in Abu Dhabi.
Accessible by phone, laptop or desktop, the virtual journey starts at the facade of the IWC boutique at The Galleria Al Maryah Island and takes the customer inside the boutique. With a bright interior accentuated with wooden accents, the store gives a panoramic display of the exquisite timepieces. The user can explore on their own or can opt for getting an online client advisor feature before entering the boutique.
The boutique allows shoppers to explore six iconic watch families of the brand - Portugieser, Pilot’s Watches, Portofino, Aquatimer, Ingenieur and Da Vinci. Apart from technical specifications of the selected timepiece, there are features where shoppers can click on displays and compare products, read online catalogues and take a guided tour of the boutique. For a more personalized experience, shoppers can connect with customer advisors and book store appointments to preview or buy the watch.
Mehdi Rajan, Regional Brand Director of IWC Schaffhausen for the Middle East, India and Africa, commented, “IWC is always looking to elevate the journey of discovery for its customers and we are very excited to be bringing a personalized online experience to our customers in the Middle East, especially at a time when the world is undergoing a digital revolution and virtual connections are of utmost importance. With the launch of our new virtual boutique, customers can expect a captivating, engaging and enjoyable online experience with IWC.”
This new virtual boutique will be used as a platform for online events, launching new collections and connecting with new as well as existing IWC customers across the Middle East.
