The luxury resorts brand partners with star Chef Akira Koba for new dining experiences
February 14, 2020: Soneva is a pioneering family of hospitality properties and products, offering holistic encounters in luxurious and inspiring environments. It recently announced its next series of dining program as part of its 25th-anniversary calendar of events: Soneva Masters with Master Chef Akira Koba.
There are three dining events taking place across 2020 and 2021, with the first happening in Mumbai, India, from March 11-16, 2020. There will be another Soneva Masters event in Moscow in early October 2020, and the third in London in January 2021. The dinners in Mumbai will be priced at INR 9,000++ per person, with two seatings each night. On March 14 and 15 Chef Akira will also be hosting lunches (INR 9,000++ per person). The venue for the lunches and dinners is the A Club Mumbai. Guests can also pair their dinner with sake and wine,as chosen by Soneva Fushi’s Sommelier.
Chef Akira Koba is an exceptionally experienced sushi chef from Japan. He has trained under some of Japan's most renowned Master Chefs, including at a three-Michelin starred sushi restaurant in his native Fukuoka. Chef Akira is known for his sashimi or aburi (lightly grilled) pickled mackerel with Ponzu sauce, and Yellowtail with a seaweed soy sauce.
