Sofitel Mumbai BKC to host a Kashmiri Food Festival
February 3, 2017: Taking one of the most complex, richest cuisines of India, and giving it an elegant setting, Sofitel Mumbai BKC is going to host a 10-day Kashmiri Food Festival from February 10.
Master Chef Mujeeb-ur-Rehman, a descendent of Khansamas (royal chefs) of the Wajid Ali Shah era has 15 years of experience in innovative culinary skills. After an extensive research on Kashmiri Pandit and Wazwan cuisine, the chef has come up with myriad dishes to tantalize the palates with vivid flavors.
To get a sample of the menu, vegetarian delicacies served include Tsaman Warimasala Tikka, Heder Kanti, Rogvan Tsaman, Munjh Mirchi Kovrma and many more. Non-vegetarian options will include Gadh Dhaniwal Pasanda, Kukur Lebabdar Tikka, Gadh Mujh, Rogvan Josh, Gushtaba and more. Those with a sweet tooth can savor Shufta, Chilgoze Piste Ke Phirini and Chukander E Afroz.
