Rolls-Royce presents the first of 30 bespoke Phantoms to The 13 Hotel
March 3, 2016: At the 2016 Geneva International Motor Show, renowned British carmaker, Rolls-Royce handed over the first of 30 highly bespoke Extended Wheelbase Rolls-Royce Phantom limousines to Macau's new 'The 13' hotel.
Representing the largest single commission in Rolls-Royce history, the handcrafted motor cars serve as an extension of the hotel’s aesthetics. Glazed in a specially formulated ‘Stephen Red’ paint with golden touches, the exterior flaunts the hotel’s signature colors.
The automobiles’ interior complements The 13’s dedication to hospitality. The rear seats house a refrigerator, while specially requested door panniers host a tissue box to ensure a well-serviced commute. In a slew of amenities and accessories, the ceiling stands out. Equipped with the hand-woven fiber-optic lights, forming the Starlight Headliner, it glows in the exact celestial alignment that characterized the night of the hotel’s ground breaking.
Following last month’s announcement that Rolls-Royce halts the production of its signature Phantom designs, the carmaker will deliver the whole custom-made fleet prior to The 13’s opening in late summer 2016.
