Rolls-Royce presents Bespoke Collection for Korea

June 1, 2017: To celebrate over a decade of ties with South Korea, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars displays a “Bespoke Collection for Korea” at the British Embassy in Seoul. Two editions are featured, the Ghost Seoul Edition and the Wraith Busan Edition.

The luxury cars are inspired by both Seoul and Busan, the country’s largest cities. Seoul has been home to Rolls-Royce since 2004, with the second showroom in Busan joining last September. The collection is the first of its kind, which demonstrates the beautiful heritage of South Korea paired with the splendor of these evolving cities.

Both cars are uniquely made by designers at the marque’s home in Goodwin, England and crafted through a commissioning process. Korean customers can enjoy these exquisite vehicles at The Rolls-Royce Motor Car Studio in Incheon that opened recently.

Director of Design, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, Giles Taylor and Regional Director for Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Asia Specific contributed to the unveiling of the Rolls-Royce Ghost Seoul Edition and the Rolls-Royce Wraith Busan Edition. Due to the 33% increase in registration of the vehicles as of the end of April 2017, the newly expanded portfolio for Rolls-Royce proved popular, leading to the Bespoke Collection debuting during a prosperous time in Korea.

The Ghost Seoul Edition represents the capital city, featuring a bright white, symbolizing purity and hope, and deep black body balanced with red and blue elements that represent the country’s national flag. The red and blue slightly form pinstripes along the wheel centers that captures viewers’ attention. Inside, massage seats and black perforated leather greets the guests with a ‘black tie with a twist’ theme.

Endless possibilities that the Rolls-Royce Busan provides demonstrates the opposite of the busy city of Seoul. This vehicle focuses on the harbors and beaches of Busan with a Royal Blue exterior and Jubilee Silver two-tone, alluding to the dazzling surface of the sea water. Adding further luster, a single coach line in soft pink flashes across the shoulder line of the car and circles the blue wheel centers.

This sophisticated theme doesn’t stop there. Grey leather and blue accents embellish the seats, with Navy Blue taking the spotlight and a soft pink tracing the stitching. These two editions are perfect for enjoying the Bespoke Audio system whether in the bustle of Seoul or seaside city of Busan.
