Rebar at Trump International Hotel and Tower unveils new menu for winter imbibing

Midnight in Paradis Rebar Trump Chicago hotelFebruary 7, 2017: Rebar at Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago has announced a refreshed lineup of progressive, hand crafted cocktails, reserve wine selections and Macallan whisky tastings to enjoy while the winter lasts.

The latest cocktail additions at Rebar focus heavily on small-batch spirits and creative combinations of ingredients to pair perfectly with the lounge’s varied artisanal small plates. Imagine Greek yogurt used as an ingredient in a cocktail! And another that is served in an ice cube and cracked open tableside!

While ‘Midnight in Paradis’ is made of Truffle Infused Hennessy Paradis, CH Amaro, honey syrup, Americano Rosa and shaved truffle, ‘One Whey Ticket’ features Ketel One vodka, apricot liqueur, cinnamon, cocoa and Greek yogurt. ‘Heer and Now’ sets the stage with Woodford Reserve Bourbon, Combier, Carpano Antica, lemon and Cherry Heering.

Heer and Now Rebar Trump Chicago hotelIn addition to the classic wine varietals and vintages at Rebar, the lounge and bar is also offering a coveted reserve list, available by the bottle, including rarities such as Salvestrin (Cuvée “Three D”, St. Helena, Napa, California 2011); Silver Oak (Cabernet Sauvignon, Alexander Valley “Library Release”, Sonoma County, California 2007); and Sociando-Mallet (Haut Médoc, Bordeaux, France 1996).

Another tempting addition to the menu is Rebar’s luxury Macallan 1824 Master Series Flight featuring a selection of four 0.5 oz. tastings. The flight includes The Macallan Rare Cask, The Macallan Reflexion, The Macallan No.6 and The Macallan M (created from the rarest whiskies at the distillery, M is a collaboration of Fabien Baron, Lalique and The Macallan).

The Macallan 1824 Master Series Flight is available for $500 per flight. The Macallan M is also available individually for $160 (0.5oz), $300 (1oz.) or $600 (2oz.).
