Ravi Bajaj launches Fall/Winter collection
November 2010: Ravi Bajaj’s Fall Winter collection takes the dandy march forward with luxurious elements and perfect designs. Bajaj pushed the envelope for menswear. He says, “Lately menswear has seen a huge upraise worldwide. We’ve too expanded our collection again this season, offering more choices in menswear than ever.” With sharp tailoring, his collection is predominantly based on blacks, purples and beiges as it adds the glam factor for men. Luxurious fabrics such as seersucker silks, silk velvets, cashmere wools, suedes form the backbone of the collection.
The women’s collection is inspired by music, such as the ‘Symphony Saree’.
The collection is based on the colour black. Purple gives the contemporary look. Faux suede has been used to create very delicate motives such as abstract roses and patterns. A very subdued shade of camel cashmere has been embellished by the use of metallic grey beads, sequins and laces. Considering the festive season around, the collection includes gold lammhe fabrics, laces and chiffons - appropriate for the season.
