Narendra Kumar supports Treasure charity with show in Geneva

April, 2011: Indian designer Mr Narendra Kumar, in association with Swiss International Air Lines, presented a fashion show at the Children are Treasure Charity Ball. Treasure is a non-profit organization based in Switzerland with the aim to promote and support children’s primary education and health in developing countries.

Held at the stately Intercontinental Hotel in Geneva, Narendra Kumar presented a collection comprising of a selection of pieces from his eponymous womenswear and menswear label with a special preview of the Indian Couture Line. The show was co-ordinated and directed by former Miss India, Arpana Sharma (now a Geneva Resident) and Ms Shymalee Kalra of The Production House, Delhi.

The illustrious guest list included prominent figures of the Swiss Business and Art Community, Indian expat community, with special guests Mr Gregory David Roberts, Princess Francoise Sturdza, Ms Feroze Gujral and Mr Jean-Philippe Benoit of SWISS.
