The French Champagne House marks the anniversary of its flagship champagne with a holiday bottle and an exclusive coffret
December 18, 2019: Founded in 1743, Moët & Chandon celebrates the thrill of living, by offering a range of unique wines for every occasion. Each of its champagne collections dazzles and delights with bright fruitiness, an enticing palate and elegant maturity. To mark the 150th anniversary of the French House’s flagship champagne, it unveiled its holiday-season collection.
An elegantly festive bottle and an exclusive limited-edition coffret – aptly titled “Imperial Dome” – offers champagne lovers a glimpse into the lifestyle of the sophisticated elites of 19th century, an era of unique elegance, when Moët Impérial began its extraordinary journey. The holiday bottle is dressed in a shimmering golden sleeve textured like gold leaf. Its new logo is redesigned to erect the “I” of Impérial into a new symbol.
It is filled with the House’s signature champagne, defined by a bright fruitiness, a seductive palate and an elegant maturity. Its assemblage is designed to mirror the richness and diversity of the Champagne region’s vineyards, structured with a slight dominance of Pinot Noir, textured by Meunier and enhanced by the freshness of Chardonnay. Paired with two beautiful golden-stemmed champagne coupes, it is a tribute to sophistication.
Limited to 500 units, this holiday bottle is available in a 75cl size at select lounge bars, chic hotels and wine stores across Mumbai, New Delhi and Bangalore.
Moët & Chandon has also created the delicious “Impérial 1869” cocktail with a tantalizing recipe – to be served in a coupe – that combines the generosity of the House’s signature champagne with a touch of citrus-based ingredients and agave, to be decorated with a delightful sprig of baby’s breath flower – a gentle reminder of the bountiful yet delicate nature where Moët Impérial originates.
