Mandarin Oriental, Paris set to launch in summer of 2011

February 2011: The highly anticipated Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Paris is set to be launched this summer. Located at 247/251 on the world-renowned rue Saint-Honoré, Mandarin Oriental, Paris has a prestigious address in the heart of this fashion capital, with the Garnier Opera, the Louvre and the Tuileries Gardens all close by. The original, magnificent Art Deco façade of this luxury hotel has been beautifully complemented by chic, contemporary interiors. Guests are sure to have the most luxurious, glamorous, and truly Parisian experience in the city.

Taupe silk cushions and embroidered taffeta in shades of orange, fuchsia and plum; sleek contemporary furniture and fine materials such as dark wood, pale lacquer and chrome have all been used to great effect. The hotel features 99 spacious rooms and 39 suites, imagined and decorated by interior designer Sybille de Margerie at SM Design, and featuring the latest in in-room technology.

A vast inner courtyard will offer outdoor dining, with a choice of restaurants and bars under Executive Chef and Culinary Director Thierry Marx. The Spa at Mandarin Oriental, Paris will bring relaxation in a peaceful, modern setting. An indoor pool and a fully-equipped fitness centre will complete the hotel’s leisure facilities.
