MB&F M.A.D. Gallery unveils novel kinetic sculptures

February 15, 2016: True to its futuristic aesthetics, fine watchmaker MB&F M.A.D. Gallery is exhibiting the geometrically engineered kinetic pieces of Dutch artist, Jennifer Townley.

Jennifer Townley's Lift sculpture for MB&F

With a meticulous attention to detail and motion, Ms Townley has created sculptures that intercept their spectators’ own patterns of thought and perception. A panoply of intricately intertwined gears and wheels propel her works into constant action, which simultaneously distort and create shapes.

Entitled “Perpetual Transience,” Townley’s collection at the M.A.D. Gallery bears close links to the various cogs, complications and movements that characterize MB&F’s watches, often described as enchantingly other worldly.

All five unique pieces that comprise “Perpetual Transience” are available for purchase at the gallery’s Geneva venue, with more information to be found on its website.
