If there is one brand that definitely knows how to keep you wanting more then that is MAC. We are barely getting over the excitement of their Archies Girls collection when in walks the brand with a new one! I'm talking about the Extra Dimension Collection eyeshadows and I have just two words for it - beautifully monochrome!

MAC Extra Dimension EyeshadowA perfect pressed shadow, Opalesse is a white shade, leaning towards baby pink, making it perfect for that girls’ day out. Many are suggesting to use it over a black or a white base, but I would recommend using it as is for a flirty look, teamed up with a brown or a black liquid eye liner. Pearly with a distinctive feminine oomph, this one is going to be my go-to when I don’t know what to do with my look. Two coats show up on my skin when applied with an applicator or brush (one is just plain shimmer). Just remember to dab on some mascara and you will be sure to make heads turn!

The product can be applied both dry and wet, but the texture and finish is better in dry application. Making it wet leans to a baby pink translucent side, but the finish is that of a lightly glitter shadow.

The packaging is simple and a layman would be able to tell its origins with the black casing giving it all away. The compacts are plastic and come with snap-shut, flip-up tops. The pans have the MAC logo and a wave design embossed on them (very, very appealing to the eye). My verdict? A good product with a refined sheen that suits most skin tones and a winner for any day soirees. Smooth application and amazingly rich textures!
