Luxury jewelry brand Nirav Modi opens its first boutique in Beijing

May 9, 2017: Indian jewelry brand, Nirav Modi, has launched its first boutique in Beijing, China at The Peninsula Beijing.

Founder Mr. Nirav Modi stated, “The Chinese customer is changing the face of luxury retail industry all over the world. They are sophisticated luxury buyers, with an eye for detail and craftsmanship. The boutique in Beijing is our first one in China and we have more boutique launches in China planned over the next few years.”

The Beijing boutique is beautifully designed with exclusively designed panels that are inspired by the jewelers exclusive Mughal cut jewels, paying homage to the brand’s heritage. The use of custom made carpets, luminous golden glass, mother of pearl, and brushed silver and rose gold tones in the decor give the boutique a feminine and luxurious feel. The boutique also exhibits handmade paintings, gold leaf decors and elaborate details, highlighting the jeweler’s craftsmanship in its jewels through its innovative store concept.

The fine jewelry collections that will be displayed at the Beijing boutique include the brand’s Embrace Collection, which features unique stretchable diamond bangles and rings; the Jasmine Collection, which features jewels with a proprietary diamond cut exclusive to the brand; and the Celestial Collection featuring jewels with solitaire diamonds uniquely set in a diamond halo. Customers may also browse the Bridal Collections and the brand’s high jewelry collections at the boutique. Special jewels at the boutique will include the Spring Delight Necklace and Earrings worn by Zhang Ziyi at the Hong Kong grand opening event.
