Luxury bathroom fittings brand Sherle Wagner launches in India

Luxe bathroom fittings brand Sherle WagnerMay 8, 2012: Sherle Wagner International, recognized worldwide for luxury bathroom fittings, hardware and bath accessories, has now entered India with a store at the Oberoi Towers. Akanksha Aggarwal of PRA Ventures Pvt. Ltd is the representative for Sherle Wagner in India.

“Sherle Wagner uses old world artisans and timeless techniques, so that every piece is a true original. Though India serves as a nascent market for luxury brands, it’s time to improve our bathrooms to international standards. Bathrooms connote indulgence as it’s the one space that is redone after years!” says Ms Aggarwal.

Some of the collections that will be on display initially are the Dolphin Collection in antique gold finish, Cherub Collection in butler silver finish, Swan collection in gold plate finish, Black Onyx collection in brushed nickel, Tiger Eye Collection for wet bar and the hand painted China Collection.

While an attempt was made to replicate the format of the New York store in India, due to the small space, the Mumbai store has more of a boutiquey feel where disparate collections are displayed as Vignettes coming together in harmony to create a beautiful boutique. A lot of detailed wood carving was carried out by local craftsmen to match the quality and finish that is exhibited in Sherle Wagner products. Gold paint was used to border the ceilings to match some of the collections. Chandeliers hang from the ceilings to reflect the predominantly classic taste of Sherle Wagner.

Neena Aggarwal, Director PRA Ventures Pvt. Ltd. says, “Sherle Wagner is considered to be the most luxurious bathroom fittings in the world. From royal families, celebrities to billionaires, Sherle Wagner is always the only choice.”
