Louis Vuitton to present the Objets Nomades exhibition at its Miami Design District store

Louis Vuitton Chaise Lounge Miami Design District 2015

December 1, 2015: The Louis Vuitton Miami Design District store is presenting an Objets Nomades exhibition from December 3, 2015 to February 10, 2016. The exhibition will coincide with the Design Miami Art Basel and the brand will be presenting exclusively in the Design District store with a new addition to the Objets Nomades collection – The Lounge Chair designed by Marcel Wanders.

Louis Vuitton continues to transport its heritage into new territory with an enriched Objets Nomades collection of foldable furniture and travel accessories. The collection pays homage to the House’s special orders of the past, such as the iconic Bed Trunk or Wardrobe Trunk.

The Lounge Chair is “an unfolding and portable oasis for relaxation. The three individual modules fit into each other like a puzzle, yet when laid out create three distinct solutions – a chaise longue, armchair or pouffe”. The chair is available in two colours – classic Louis Vuitton and turquoise with a possibility of being made to order.
