2010: Lladro celebrates Diwali with a series of musical Ganeshas. Ganesha, also known as ‘Ganpati’, is one of the most widely worshipped deities in the Hindu religion. This limited edition series of musical Ganeshas offers intense colours, faithful to the traditions and taste of India.
Ganesha by Lladro wears deep saffron orange trousers, unique to this piece, and enameled turban stones. The bases have been painted with shocking colours like pink and lila in contrast to each other. The cheeks of Ganesha are blushed in soft pink, as well as the inner part of his ears. Luxury golden luster halos as well as armbands, collars, show that Ganesha is the Lord and Master. Matte porcelain is used to show purity and perfection. The series is produced in a limited edition of 3,000 units each.
