L’Occitane launches Angelica Skincare Range

July 22, 2011: Pia Pauro and French skincare brand L’Occitane organized an exclusive preview of their latest collection, Angelica Skincare Range, at Alliance Francaise, for which L’Occitane is using organic Angelica from the Drôme region in France. Known for its tremendous vitality, this plant grows incredibly fast and showcases extraordinary self-hydrating and revitalizing properties.

L’Occitane conducted an extensive study on Angelica and extracted two vital ingredients - essential oil and water from the heart of the Angelica root to create a patented complex that boosts skin hydration and vitality. The Angelica essential oil protects against harsh external factors and acts as an effective shield against free radicals addressing early signs of ageing. As a result the skin looks plumper and more radiant.

The Angelica Skincare Range comprises of Angelica Hydration Cream (a fresh, silky and smooth cream which efficiently moisturizes and reinforces natural skin hydration by stimulating aquaporins, improves skin elasticity, plumps the skin and protects from free radicals); Angelica UV Shield SPF 15 & SPF 40 (a fresh and light lotion which efficiently protects skin from the harmful effects of the sun); Angelica Eye Roll On (an ultra fresh gel that works on actively decongesting the eye area with its instant ice cube effect, reduces dark circles, puffiness and smoothens fine lines); Angelica Gel Cleanser (a gentle fresh and delicate cleansing gel that softly removes make-up and impurities while preserving the skin’s hydrolipidic film for perfectly clean and hydrated skin); and Angelica Face Toner (an alcohol free toner that refreshes and hydrates the skin while removing skin impurities).
