In another marvelous collaboration with Warner Bros, Kross Studio brings a collector set of five timepieces inspired from the fantasy epic ‘Game of Thrones’, and its successor series, ‘House of the Dragon’.
April 5, 2023: Swiss watch manufacturer Kross studio launched a limited edition collector set inspired from the most beloved fantasy hit series Game of Thrones, and its successor series, House of the Dragon. Any fan who is fascinated with the happenings in Westeros would be intrigued by this Kross Studio creation, which brilliantly blends the power and mystery of the iconic world of Westeros with cutting-edge watchmaking. The five unique collector sets are custom-built with GOT paraphernalia and the first of more to come.
Each one-of-a-kind set in the series is dedicated to a single dragon from the hit HBO series and comes with a bespoke dragon egg functional sculpture. From daring designs to mechanical excellence, each intricate detail is drawn from the world of Westeros.
Marco Tedeschi, founder of Kross Studio, brilliantly maintained the harmony of precision and magnificence and designed the GOT Dragon Central Tourbillon to reflect the essence of Targaryen royalty, a family that ruled the seven kingdoms of Westeros. Developed and produced in house by Kross Studio, the floating central tourbillon’s suspension just below the sapphire crystal dome offers a glimpse into the mesmerizing mechanics beneath it.
The watch’s design synthesizes key elements of the fantasy series and its renowned dragons, such as its dial, made of Damascus steel – made by Damasteel, the same foundry that forged the metal used in the HBO series’ swords.
As a final treat for GOT fans, the timepiece arrives inside a grade 5 titanium watch case that imitates the scales of a dragon through intricate three-dimensional engraving. The back of the case reveals the name of the singular dragon that inspired the collector set.
Each dragon egg functional sculpture, designed by the ingenious Mr. Tedeschi, is produced in collaboration with French workshop and WB licensee Leblon Delienne, and has been painstakingly airbrushed to create a unique finish that is wholly individual. The egg opens to serve as a nest, to store the Kross Studio Floating Central Tourbillon timepiece, or any watch of choice.
