Korean actress & model Ko So-young becomes the fresh new face of Ginori 1735

The actress will represent the brand in South Korea.

June 27, 2023: Expanding its footprint in the global market, Ginori 1735 recently opened a new store in South Korea in association with actress and model Ko So-young. As a natural extension of this connection and their position in the luxury market of Asia, the Italian porcelain house has appointed the Korean actress as its brand ambassador.

The new brand ambassador will help increase Ginori 1735’s awareness and will promote its business.

Ginori 1735’s store in Seoul merchandises all of its best-selling collections, which will appeal to South Korean patrons. The company mentions it as an ambitious undertaking on the part of the Maison, which places a significant emphasis on retail and world-wide expansion aligned with its recent initiatives.

Alain Prost, Chairman and CEO of Ginori 1735, shares, "Ko So-young has a charismatic personality, and she is passionate about and a collector of our creations. I think we are driven by the same passion for creativity and beauty, so we feel proud to have her join us."

In January this year, Ginori 1735 also announced actor Jake Gyllenhaal as a brand ambassador, who has since featured in a campaign for the brand.

Ms. Ko So-young said, "I’m very excited about the opportunity to be Ginori 1735’s brand ambassador for South Korea and to create synergies with the brand, which I praised for its incredible heritage, style, and craftsmanship. It’s especially joyful to be working with a Company that embodies Italian culture, color, and art and that shares my style. We look forward to disclosing our future projects; stay tuned!"

The Korean actress has more than two decades of entertainment experience under her belt. With luxury brands trying to woo South Korea for business, Ginori 1735’s latest endeavour is well-timed.
