Kitsch brings fashion brand Theory to India
2010: Kitsch, the fashion house which brought iconic international fashion brands like Alberta Ferretti, Diane Von Furstenberg, Jean Paul Gaultier, Marc Jacobs, Moschino, Stella McCartney and Lanvin to India, has now brought New York's stylish brand 'Theory' to the country.
Theory is known for its clean-line and luxuriously simple clothes and accessories. It targets the contemporary customer, who has a demanding and versatile lifestyle. The Autumn/Winter 2010 collection of Theory will be available exclusively at Kitsch in DLF Emporio Mall, New Delhi.
The collection comprises of high-waisted shorts and skirts that accentuate the waistline to create a feminine and structured look. The menswear collection includes novelty suiting with simple pinstripes in several fabrics. Classic fitting two button blazers appear in new silhouettes. Men can pair them with new pant silhouettes. Double breasted styles are also chic and contemporary.
Fur is used for several outerwear pieces. All over leather and leather patches are used throughout Fall 2010 in a variety of pieces, ranging from knitwear to outerwear. Exposed zipper detail on dresses and skirts is prominent. Knitwear styles also incorporate exposed zipper detail. Glister and Moviestar fabrics use sequins to add a touch of glam to the collection.
