Partnering with Reliance Brands Limited, the label will open its first standalone stores across major Indian cities in late 2016. The long-term distribution and retail agreement furthers the brand’s expansion trajectory, helping it meet the unquenchable global demand for its high-end clothing and accessory items.

With that move, Kate Spade & Company will tap into the ever-growing Indian luxury segment, which the Associated Chamber of Commerce of India estimates to cross over the $18 billion mark by the end of this year.
