What’s summer without a pop of colour? Kate Spade understands that and how! Stocking its stores with a collection inspired by the land of Rio de Janeiro, you can only imagine how drool-worthy it is!
Spreading forth some bright shades and toucan details, this new collection pleases the eye. Presenting a chic style sense, the collection comprises airy silhouettes, designed to relax and make a statement at the same time! More than that, the sheer amount of happiness and cheeriness that it emits is simply amazing!
Colours of joy
It was at a store event in Chicago that we were introduced to this collection. And needless to say, we are aching to buy each piece! While that is not possible, we simply tried to memorise all that beauty we saw!
Though, of course, the mood of the collection was easy and laid-back, it included pieces which had a classy appeal too. So while you have structured silk mini dresses in shades like hot pink, you have sheath dresses in tropical prints too! A lot of flare dresses in prints and stripes made the cut. A particular favourite was the Rio crepe dress in shades of coffee, black and white.
Toucan shirts and boat-neck sweaters were a part of the collection, reminding us of the quintessential bird, which has become an emblem of fun times! Rio embellished cardigans in fuchsia and coffee again looked pretty, while tropical hutton lounge pants spread the cheer from top to bottom!
A full trip
Accessorise the collection with flat Toucan sandals or the colourful Jade watermelon flats. Lana heels add style to the collection. Dangle their Cedar Street perforated range of bags on your elbow, or simply hang the printed bow tote on your shoulder, and you are ready for that beach outing, pool party or sun lounging! The Henry Lane Emmy collection, on the other hand, will match up perfectly with the mini silk dresses, for that evening out in Rio!
With Kate Spade coming out with collections inspired by exotic destinations, the next one being Havana, we can only keep a look-out for what’s on their map!
