Jimmy Choo opens new store in Bengaluru, India

2010: British luxury accessories brand Jimmy Choo has opened a new store in UB City Mall, Bengaluru. Extending over 50 sq mts, this is the brand’s third freestanding location in India, joining the New Delhi store in the Emporio Mall and the Mumbai store in The Galleria.

This new store will showcase the extensive Jimmy Choo shoe, handbag, small leather goods, sunglasses and soft accessories collections.

This unique space reflects the global Jimmy Choo design store concept which evokes the architectural glamour of a 1940’s boutique. The gentle harmonious beige interior colour scheme comprises a palette of ivory, pale rose, lilac and sand, inspired by the brand’s house colours.

The juxtaposition of iridescent surfaces, outsize furniture with soft tactile fabrics and honeyed lighting creates a tantalising environment to present the exquisite glamour of Jimmy Choo designs. Tamara Mellon, President and Founder, Jimmy Choo, said, “I want it to feel as though you are walking into a lady’s dressing room, a woman's boudoir.”

Jimmy Choo is aiming for worldwide expansion with recent store launches in prime locations like Hong Kong Landmark, Bloomingdale’s Dubai, London Westfield, Birmingham, Melbourne, Singapore Resorts World, Seattle and Shanghai.
