Isharya Jewels launch in India at Ensemble
June 2011: Ensemble, the renowned multi-designer boutique by Tina Tahiliani, launched Isharya Jewelry in its Delhi and Mumbai stores.
The Isharya Jewelry brand was conceived by Radhika and Gauri Tandon in 2005. It is a perennial favourite among trend-setting fashionistas such as Paris Hilton, Eva Longoria, Hilary Duff, Drew Barrymore, Lucy Liu, Jennifer Lopez and Vanessa Williams.
Isharya Jewelry incorporates international influences and marries traditionally French enameling technique called plique-a-jour with Eastern motifs like paisleys and kundan. The latest collection is about casual luxury. Created with 18 carat gold, the creations are a vision in vibrant indigo and other hues of the sea featuring agates, mirrors and resin. Boasting design concepts inspired by the ‘tree of life’ of Indian philosophy which holds that all life on earth is inter-related – the collection is embellished with intricate filigree motifs of butterflies, birds, flowers and leaves all growing from a single tree.
