Indigo Deli, Mumbai to retail Araku Emerald Coffee
April 13, 2012: The Deli Shop, located within each of the Indigo Delis in Mumbai, is now going to retail the rare Araku Emerald Coffee.
Grown by Adivasi farmers of Araku Valley in the Eastern Ghats, this ten-year old, shade-grown, organic, sun-dried and hand-picked Arabica was till now sold directly to the highest bidders representing prestigious coffee importers in Europe and elsewhere. Araku Emerald Coffee is now on the menu and for sale at Indigo Deli Colaba, Palladium & Andheri.
Currently, two of their finest blends, Red Earth and Forest Trail, are on the shelves at Indigo Deli. Red Earth is bright and lively with a sweet tanginess and flavours of caramel, chocolate and citrus. Forest Trail is strong and bold with a silken texture and flavours of dark chocolate, caramelised fruit and brown sugar.
The Red Earth is priced at INR 360 for 200 gm; and Forest Trail is INR 450 for 200gm and INR 300 for 125 gm.
