The swimwear brand that ushered in a new wave of resort wear and bikini sarees has opened a new flagship store in Hyderabad.
May 5, 2023: The way clothing brand Shivan & Narresh infuse liveliness into materials, whether it be for a wedding ensemble or swimsuits, is unmatched. Their casual foray into airy fabrics with travel themed designs appeals to both Generation Z and Millennials. The brand now strengthens its footprint in India with a new flagship store in Hyderabad at Banjara Hill.
Narresh Kukreja, Creative Director, Shivan & Narresh, said "For me, Hyderabad has always been a cradle of joie-de-vivre that is looking to celebrate life in its fullest form, making it is so close to our heart because that's what personifies SHIVAN & NARRESH - to make life your biggest holiday and Hyderabadi connoisseurs embody the emotion every day!"
Inside the 2,700 sq. ft. space with two floors, visitors are greeted by a gorgeous glass facade. The ground floor is dedicated to womenswear and jewelry while the first floor displays menswear. The store also features the brand’s first venture into home furnishings.
Designed by renowned architect, Kanan Modi, the architecture follows the brand’s signature modern interpretation of antiquity, using monochromatic tones with shimmering touches of gold and rose gold.
A distinctive art sculptural wall that doubles as a unique installation is spellbinding. Handcrafted by 15 homegrown artisans over a span of almost three months, and over 14 ft. high, 36 ft. wide and weighing 1200 kgs, the wall displays artistic perforations carved in solid wood, with each block being unique from the other.
A luxurious rose gold mirror ceiling adds to the opulence, and modern accents that match the area’s design include a sculpted fluted billing desk that bedecks the entry lounge and a 14 ft. high black teak door that serves as the main entrance.
The Carpets and Art created by Shivan & Narresh, together with flora in eclectic ornaments scattered throughout the showroom, are just another example of the designers’ prodigious ingenuity.
