Named ‘Equivalence’, the undeviating collection includes wedding styles for both men and women
March 10, 2021: Indian designer label Sarah & Sandeep has announced the launch of its Summer Festive 21 collection ‘Equivalence’ with contemporary styles for both brides and grooms. With this collection, the designers wished to capture the change in the distribution of power amongst men and women, not only in the workplace, but also when it comes to Indian family dynamics.
Always focusing on power and structure in their design aesthetics, the new concept couture bridal styles are a reflection of their previous menswear collections.
Some signature concept pieces include the Couture Bridal Power Suit, The Power Lehenga, The Bandhgala Saree & The Palazzo Power Lehenga. The Power Lehengas have embroidered panels, blouses with suit lapels, statement pleated drapes and a truly signature Sarah & Sandeep bridal look - a full sleeve bandhgala blouse paired with a lehenga with geometric hand worked artistry.
Tuxedos have been reimagined for brides looking to elevate their style quotient. A concept ensemble that represents this new design approach is a white fully embroidered Off-Shoulder Double Breasted Tuxedo styled with a veil as Sarah & Sandeep attempt to break the norms of what can pass off as an Indian bridal look.
The styles for grooms are flawless and have an essence of their own with Bandhgalas with fabric manipulation and Kurta Bandi Sets with pleats on the hem.
Equivalence is now available to shop directly at the Sarah & Sandeep flagship store in Khar(West).
