Hotel Cafe Royal launches new collection of cocktails in collaboration with Parfums Givenchy
January 28, 2015: Taking the trend of fashion inspired afternoon teas further, Hotel Café Royal will launch an exclusive Atelier Collection of Cocktails in collaboration with Parfums Givenchy on February 1, 2015. The cocktail collection will be available in the hotel’s Green Bar till March 31, 2015, and will be priced at £13 per cocktail.
Developed by Tiziano Tasso, Café Royal’s talented mixologist, the seven cocktails have been designed to mirror the seven fragrances of L’Atelier de Givenchy fragrance collection. Each of the cocktails has a distinct colour and unique personality and taste, reflecting the key perfume notes of the fragrance to which they correspond.
Each fragrance has been structured using rich raw materials (including rare flowers, precious woods, dazzling fruits and vibrant leathers) and each of the names reflect the symbiosis of perfume and fashion, pairing an olfactory raw material with a Couture reference. Hotel Café Royal’s mixologists have mirrored this concept with an emphasis on detail to create the cocktail collection.
For example, the Chypre Caresse fragrance, inspired by the delicate fresh chypre, has inspired a cocktail developed with the elegant aromas of gin, jasmine, lemon citrus and the subtle, yet rich, notes of honey. To match the Cuir Blanc’s radical neo-leathery fragrance, the cocktail is created using Siberian pine needle extract, to give the palate a woody and fresh taste.
The feline, ambery notes of Ambre Tigré fragrance, have been by featuring rye American vodka unusually combined with Dutch honey whisky and English amber beer. And there are more to explore once you reach Green Bar at Hotel Café Royal.
