Harley-Davidson India announces 'Harley Rock Riders'

2010: Harley-Davidson India recently announced the launch of its unique music property - Harley Rock Riders, an annual music platform which will bring together motorcycling and music, honouring Harley-Davidson's historic association with Rock & Roll and its legends.

In its first year, Harley Rock Riders will commence with a five-city tour accompanied by Split and guest performances by Them Clones, Thermal and a Quarter, Menwhopause, Native Tongue and Indus Creed. Sanjay Tripathi, Director - Marketing, Harley-Davidson said, "The Harley-Davidson culture is as much about its unique style as the motorcycles themselves. Self-expression is what Harley is all about and that is what connects us with rock music, and we are proud to announce our annual rock music property Harley Rock Riders."

This annual unique rock music property has been conceptualized by Harley-Davidson India and Rolling Stone India. Split, a promising rock band, has been selected to kick-start the Harley Rock Riders tour from September 9 to December 4. The three-month rock tour will touch upon the five cities starting with New Delhi on September 9 at Hard Rock Café, Chandigarh on September 23 at Score, Mumbai on October 7 at Hard Rock Café, Hyderabad on October 28 at Hard Rock Café, Bangalore on November 11 at Hard Rock Café, and Grand Concert in Delhi on December 4 at Pragati Maidan.
