Hakkasan celebrates the opening of Ling Ling Marrakech with a new cocktail flight inspired by the tastes of Ling Ling
July 18, 2016: Beginning July 1, Hakkasan restaurants around the world, including Hakkasan Mumbai, will celebrate the opening of Ling Ling Marrakech with a limited edition cocktail flight illustrating the ‘Evolution of Ling Ling’, from London to Mykonos to Marrakech, paired with three dim sum.
Located at the center of the old town, Ling Ling Mykonos has re-opened for its second season with its open-air restaurant, bar and rooftop private dining room. A second Ling Ling will open in Marrakech this autumn. Taking up residence at Mandarin Oriental, Marrakech, the restaurant will overlook the olive groves and serene ponds at the center of the resort with an outdoor terrace, lounge and bar.
In honor of the upcoming opening of Ling Ling Marrakech, Hakkasan Mumbai will feature the cocktail trio using authentic flavors taken from London, Mykonos and Marrakech. The three cocktails have each been paired with one piece of signature Hakkasan dim sum, the Radish puff, Duck roll and Sesame prawn toast. The first cocktail, the Bitter Fortune, is one of the original cocktails available at the first Ling Ling in Hakkasan Hanway Place in London, which forms the base of the following two cocktails. Bitter Fortune features Tanqueray gin, Campari, pink grapefruit and lime. The second cocktail, the Golden Mare, transforms the Bitter Fortune using Mediterranean herbs, rosemary and basil, to echo Ling Ling Mykonos, while the third, ChilliCoupette, is inspired by the spices of Morocco such as cardamom and chili to evoke a sense of Marrakech.
The ‘Evolution of Ling Ling’ cocktail flight is available from July 1 through August 31 at Hakkasan Mumbai’s bar and is priced at Rs 2000 for three cocktails and three dim sum.
