Gucci seeks social change through Beyonce's The Formation World Tour
April 27, 2016: Gucci’s Chime For Change aligns with Global Citizen and BeyGOOD to launch a campaign that urges pop icon, Beyoncé’s fans, to “Stand in Good Formation” against poverty, gender inequality and injustice.
The initiative coincides with Beyoncé’s The Formation world tour, which kicks off in North America. Music lovers who claim their global citizenship online and join the GOOD Formation ranks will have the chance to win VIP tickets to The Formation World tour in Houston, Los Angeles, New York, Detroit and London.
On and off stage, Beyoncé has been a vocal activist for female empowerment. In 2013, she teamed up with Gucci and actress Salma Hayek to found Chime for Change. Since then, the organization has funded more than 420 projects in 88 countries through 153 non-profit partners, spurring policy change and improving the lives of millions of girls and women around the world.
