Gucci presents the Sylvie handbag
March 10, 2016: Gucci released its new Sylvie handbag – creative director, Alessandro Michele’s contemporary reinterpretation of the label’s famous fashion codes.
Rendered in calf leather or crocodile, the Sylvie combines the renowned Gucci web insert in soft wool with a solid ornamental chain with a spring-buckle closure. The label’s web design also appears on the grosgrain shoulder strap, which ends in metallic details.
With a nod to eccentricity, the two web motifs boast disparate color combinations. However, each purse comes with an alternative plain-leather strap that lands it a classic, subdued look.
With five hues to choose from – green, red, white, black and blue, the Sylvie is now available in all Gucci boutiques as well as on the brand’s website.
