Gucci launches its 2020 novelties

Adding new statement pieces to its watches, jewellery and accessory lines, Gucci's highly acclaimed timepieces, flora line, running earrings and lion head jewellery collection gets new classy introductions

March 14, 2020: Gucci  has launched its new 2020 timepieces and fine jewellery novelties. Gucci Timepieces, one of the most reliable and consistent fashion watch brands, with a clear design approach and positioning, has been designing, developing and manufacturing iconic Gucci watches since the early 1970s. The new GG Running earrings mix easily with other styles for a fashionable,  asymmetric look. Adding extra radiance and energy to the Gucci Flora line, the latest additions include earrings, rings, a bracelet, and a necklace. It is also expanding its distinctive Lion Head fine jewellery collection. The new designs make a strong statement; whether worn alone or combined with other Lion Headpieces.

The new G-Timeless slim timepieces encompass a wide range of styles, from minimalist to bold and colourful. Gucci is taking the G-Timeless slim collection in two new directions. Available in a variety of colour combinations, the new timepieces feature the Gucci bee motif as a rotating central second hand. Offered in three classic but refined colourways – yellow gold PVD with a silver sun-brushed dial, or steel with a silver or black sun-brushed dial – with a choice between two different case sizes (29mm or 36mm). Two feminine editions blend red or black cuir lizard strap with a pink or blue lacquered dial and five-diamond indexes. Showcasing a slightly simpler design, another two editions bring together a taupe or black leather strap with a silver sun-brushed dial.
Gucci is also adding a highly contemporary touch to the Grip collection with a bold new 38mm watch. Inspired by the world of skateboarding, the Grip collection celebrates self-expression. The new timepiece features a grey PVD case and bracelet, both engraved with the GG logo. The streamlined, vintage-shaped dial is typical of the Grip line, with three windows in which black disks indicate the hour, minute, and date. A dark metal coating creates an elegant titanium effect, demonstrating Gucci’s craftsmanship and attention to detail.

The new GG Running fine jewellery collection presents fresh, modern pieces combining precious materials and high-level craftsmanship with a hint of street style. Crafted in 18k yellow or white gold, the new earrings each feature a spherical stud, which is worn on the front of the ear, and the GG logo inside a frame, which dangles behind the ear.

Gucci is combining 18k yellow gold and diamonds in the Gucci Flora fine jewellery collection. Showing a high level of craftsmanship, the new pieces feature diamond-encrusted flowers and the GG logo. Another pair of earrings showcases a glamorous silhouette with a cascading floral element. An open-band ring offers a modern, fashionable look, while another ring makes a bold statement with a radiant flower motif. The bracelet and necklace with discreet flower-shaped centrepieces, are more delicate and can be combined with other styles to create a layered look. The Lion Head motif forms the focal point of the new designs. Showing a very high level of craftsmanship, the eyes are set with diamonds and the teeth hold a coloured gemstone. The new arrivals include two single earrings, which can be worn as simple studs or with the colourful jackets, and three rings and matching bracelets. The pieces appear in white gold, fully encrusted with diamonds and featuring an aquamarine gemstone, or in yellow gold, set with an amethyst or chrome diopside gemstone.
