Good Earth presents its new annual design collection 'Van Vaibhav'
October 3, 2017: Luxury design house, Good Earth, has launched its annual design collection, Van Vaibhav, based on a concept from the ancient Rig Vedas.
Having always been inspired by nature, the new collection presents new design stories that celebrate the Van Vaibhav (splendor of the forest) theme, resurrects iconic designs from Good Earth’s design archive and also brings customer’s favourites back on the shop floor.
Ranging from mugs, cushions to textile runners, the line encapsulates an elaborate selection of home decor essentials imprinted with the fantasy of chintz-inspired blooms against the picturesque grasslands, graced by the majestic cheetah. Encompassing a range of hand-block printed bath, bed and table linen, Van Vaibhav also includes the collection Narmada, with motifs of tropical flora and fauna along the iconic river Narmada, nurturing some of India’s oldest forests.
The Ilankai collection makes a comeback. A bed and textiles collection presented in delicate handblock prints on cotton pique and linen, this collection pays homage to the resplendent textile heritage of Chintz.
In dining, new leitmotifs of raw green ambi, red chillies and coriander make their way as refreshing renditions in the Mango Chutney casual dining collection, presented in hand-painted porcelain. Uniting their Persia Garden and Baradari designs, Good Earth now offers Rosa Bagh, a collection of fine bone china tableware with leitmotifs inspired by a vintage Persian miniature, and the enchanting garden life of the Mughals. The collection captures intricate outdoor pavilions, birds and butterflies in an oasis of verdant blossoms, illustrating a paradise garden with accents of 24 carat gold.
To raise awareness about the environment, Good Earth also extends its support to Elephant Parade, a social enterprise and global movement that will be hosted across Jaipur, Delhi and Mumbai later this year.
The Van Vaibhav collection is available at all Good Earth stores and on goodearth.in, until 2018.
