The auction house's California Jewels Sale presents an iconic and captivating collection of jewelry, full of artistry and design.
February 14, 2023: Renowned auction house Bonhams is presenting its first California Jewels sale of 2023 on February 22. The sale will present a selection of exceptional jewels, including signed pieces from leading houses such as Cartier, Bulgari, Graff, and Van Cleef & Arpels, to renowned designers including Angela Cummings for Tiffany & Co., and quintessential American jeweler David Webb.
A platinum and diamond bracelet, offered with an estimate of US$ 22,000-28,000.
Weddings are incomplete without the bling that diamonds bring and with that in mind, the collection has gorgeous icy diamond jewels, from a platinum and 156 graduated baguette diamond line necklace to a platinum and diamond ring with a central emerald-cut diamond, both offered with an estimate of US$50,000-70,000. An ornate platinum and diamond bracelet of 265 marquise-shaped, baguette and round diamonds define wedding style with its elegant proportions.
Leading the diamond sale is an 18K white gold and marquise-shaped diamond ring offered with an estimate of US$140,000-200,000. An exceptional Verdura 18K gold and gem-set wood bracelet featuring a Maltese cross set with ruby and emerald cabochons, round cultured pearls and round diamonds, is offered with an estimate of US$18,000-22,000.
