Four Seasons Hotel Mumbai hosts Artisanal Champagne Sundowners

Four Seasons Hotel Mumbai Artisanal Champagne Sundowners April 9, 2013: Bubbly lovers can now head to Four Seasons Hotel Mumbai to enjoy Artisanal Champagnes, defined as those made by Récoltant – about 2000 growers who make their own wines as well as selling grapes to the major Champagne houses. Savour true “artisanal winemaking” where the terroir is at the forefront for each wine, rather than an emphasis on a consistent “house style” that can be made year after year.

Guests can relish from a selection of three exclusive wines from three such growers at the hotel. The “champagne of the day” will be available at an exceptional price during happy hours at AER.

Sip on the Agrapart & Fils Les 7 Crus Brut, Blanc de Blancs NV, 100% Chardonnay, made with grapes from seven villages of the Côte des Blancs. The NV Brut Blanc de Blancs 7 Crus shows lively freshness and in its lemon, spices and flowers. This mid-weight, focused Champagne is all elegance and class. The Laherte Frères Brut Tradition NV comes from the Coteaux Sud d’Epernay and the Vallée de la Marne, and is based heavily on Pinot Meunier. The NV Brut Tradition is a beautifully precise, chiseled wine. Citrus, flowers and minerals are woven together in fabric of unusual elegance. Jacquesson Cuvée No. 735 NV is a gorgeous, fleshy wine laced with radiant fruit. Lemon, white flowers, spices and crushed rocks are some of the notes that inform this deep, satisfying Champagne.

Enjoy the Artisanal “Champagne of the Day” at AER at a happy hour price of INR 1,300 plus taxes, by glass and INR 6,500 plus taxes by bottle from April 1 to 31 May, 2013.
