Forest Essentials new store designVatta, Pitta, Kapha – these three words define the balance of life according to the ancient Indian philosophy of Ayurveda. Denoting the five elements of life, these three conditions have to be equal in a human to ensure the best quality of life.

Though there are multitude Ayurveda centres offering to bring harmony to your lives, in the luxury sector, Forest Essentials has been filling the gap quite aptly. Their customers swear by their products and keep coming back to ensure complete skin rejuvenation.

The Ayurveda heaven
Forest Essentials now takes the story further by launching a new store décor, which exemplifies the philosophy of the brand, while also giving it an artistic turn. Visiting their Khan Market store, where they have implemented the new design first, we found the décor to be clutter-free and neat.

As you enter, the first area is white in its flooring, cabinets and shelves. With plenty of sunlight coming through the door, the area gets quite an ethereal glow. Taking inspiration from Rajasthani-Mughal architecture, you’ll observe stained glass and jaali (lattice) work at the top, marking your entry to the second area.

Walk through the next area and you instantly get a rich feel. The cabinets and shelves are done in warm walnut wood. A majestic chandelier casts immense light on the products. The top of the cabinets are adorned with sayings from ancient Vedas, which praise the goodness of natural ingredients like saffron and rose. Look above and you’ll see mirror work adorning the ceiling – again inspired by the Mughal style. The shelves are also lined with mirrors, giving the area an open feel. Further ahead is a plush sofa and the billing counter.

But what adds a defining feature to the store are photographs inspired by the paintings of Raja Ravi Verma, where sensuous, sultry, yet simple women are getting pampered by nature’s goodness. Add to this the lovely fragrance of Forest Essentials products which permeates the store, and you know you have entered a peaceful heaven!

Forest Essentials ayurvedic creams and productsThe core
Loving the store with each passing minute, we continued to learn interesting facts about the brand. For example, Forest Essentials continues to make its products in a small workshop in Uttarakhand, where mantras are chanted while creating some of their products. Estee Lauder has a sizable stake in the company, and their expertise will be utilized to create a market internationally for the brand. Surely there are many who are awaiting the goodness of Ayurveda!

And although Forest Essentials has efficient product lines which ensure a solution to any kind of problem, they even have a Made to Order facility! Fill up their form online, tell them about your conditions and preferences, and the brand will create a special formulation suitable to treat that issue. Making it even more exclusive, Forest Essentials uses original and personalised ingredients, unused in the existing collections of the brand, to create customized products. The packaging too will be personalized with your name on it. And this product will, of course, never be kept in their stores or revealed to any other customer. Price is on request.

Forest Essentials surely knows how to pamper their consumers while also treating the problem areas efficiently. Book a session with their doctors to ensure you are picking the right product. And as Forest Essentials has made quite a strong foothold in the country, we are waiting to see how the rest of the world receives it, though we hear they have a massive international following already!
