Ermenegildo Zegna launches Sunglasses collection for 2011
February 2011: Ermenegildo Zegna’s Eyewear Collection for 2011 has the same elegance and quality that have marked the brand’s centennial history till now. The collection exalts a contemporary and cosmopolitan man, a traveller whose lifestyle is his own boarding card. Utmost versatility is the central quality of this collection. Larger shapes alternate with more slim-fit models.
Clean and minimal shapes define the metal models - featuring classic aviator lines and a linear design, proposed in sober colours and in the new contemporary blue. Vintage plastic models enrich the collection, with elegant shapes and clean lines, embellished by special metal decoration that runs along the outside of the temple up to the front piece.
Wood is used as an essential and exclusive material, with sober applications on tubular and thin temples, or as an insert in the double bridge. Light blue, black and gold prevail in the metal models, while bright horn-effect orange and green dominate the acetates, other than honey, grey/green, white and elegant Havana colours.
