Dior launches the Grand Bal "Plume" Blu
October 17, 2014: Reinterpreting Christian Dior’s love for the colour blue, the 38mm Dior VIII Grand Bal Plume, is now attired in new finery and adorned in delicate blue feathers, diamonds and a dark blue alligator strap.
The Dior VIII Grand Bal Blue Plume models are airy-light. The oscillating weight prances about on the festooned black mother-of-pearl and diamond dial in its blue-feathered petticoat, reproducing the swirl of a ball gown. This feminine and elegant timepiece proposed in black ceramic and in white ceramic is equipped with an automatic movement, the “Dior Inversé 11 1/2” calibre, exclusive to the House of Dior.
The black ceramic is combined with intense blue colour of the feathers and the alligator strap is in harmony with the House’s Haute Couture and reflecting the ready-to-wear collections.
