Christian Louboutin creates punk, grunge and sixties style for Autumn Winter 2015

Christian Louboutin Autumn Winter 2015 Punk Style Shoe

June 22, 2015: Christian Louboutin’s Autumn/Winter 2015 collection turns back the clock on several eras of style, from the sixties, to grunge, to techno. Influenced by the exotic, the bold, the sensual, and the irreverent, the line introduces new colours, textures, and technical innovations with the detail and craftsmanship that are emblematic of the Louboutin brand.

Who says punk is dead? Adorned with leather spikes in black, nude, and baby blue, Electro Pump and Electroboot take rocker chic to new heights. Saudade and Faolo Boot bring out the grunge, adorned in spiky metallic cones from the Louboutin archives.

Dangerous curves give way to sharp silhouettes of supple, shapely leather on Vampydolly and Sweety Charity, embellished with tantalizing black fringe. The seduction continues in transparency and five different types of lace on slinged and strappy pumps like Marinadentella, Follies Lace, and Oolala, styles that evoke the sensuality of lingerie.

Beauty continues to influence fashion with their Degradé styles, exclusive to Louboutin, putting Requipump and So Kate in three glossy finishes in black-to-red and nude-to-red, reminiscent of the Rouge Louboutin “Fade to Rouge” manicure. Beyond the rouge, the collection draws upon a whole new palette, from florals, inspired by carnations and foxgloves, to the natural, such as stone and rust, to pops of ocean and forest tones that will give any woman a new way to colour her world.

Intricate new embroidery techniques on Perucora will make your jewelry cabinet jealous, while a mix of chains, from the heavy and welted to the delicate, hand-applied mini-chains on Dolly Party add a glimmer of reflective opulence. Master Pump, Master Boot, Monaniso, and Jamella combine the style and craftsmanship of their men’s shoes with a feminine touch.

Fresh off the runway at New York Fashion Week, Sharpstagram joins Elastagram and Pumpstagram in an amalgam of oranges, blues, and yellows with elastic straps and sporty techno fabrics that mix the technical with the luxurious.

For handbag lovers, see the new Lucky L line, a fresh update on the bucket bag, layered in patchwork, studs, and plenty of fringe pairing outstanding architecture atop alluring calfskin leather. The Passage Shopping lets it all hang out with fringe and comes alive with Rougissime in FrankenLoubi, a monster mash of hardware embellished patchwork and a whole lot of attitude.
