Bvlgari launches the Aqva Divina fragrance
March 24, 2015: Bulgari has unveiled the Aqva Divina fragrance, which takes inspiration from the brand’s ancient Greek and Roman roots.
Goddess Venus - Aphrodite for the Greeks – serves as the backdrop for this fragrance. Originally she was the cosmic goddess of universal fertility, she then became the goddess of Love and the lover of Adonis. From its fragrance to its bottle, Aqva Divina is a concentration of unequalled beauty and radiance.
For the head notes, bergamot blows an aquatic breeze with its citrus notes on which pink ginger casts its reflections. A brilliant and spicy energy tickles the senses like an amplifying wave. The charm of magnolia fills the heart. The amber at the base caresses the skin. An elixir of pure sensuality with syrupy, woody and sensual tones, it is exalted by the texture of beeswax.
The jewel-bottle of Aqva Divina has a sensual shape which draws inspiration from the curves and delicate nuances of the seashell. Keeping true to its tradition of inspiring fragrances on its iconoc jewelry pieces, this Bvlgari perfume’s round bottle recalls the Sassi cut, one of the Roman jeweller’s favourites, having used it in his latest collections of high jewellery.
