Bulgari’s new B.zero1 Kada Bracelet symbolizes another small nuance of Indian culture

This limited edition piece has been crafted exclusively for India.

January 26, 2024: Wooing India with a new piece, Roman jewelry brand Bulgari has launched the B.zero1 Kada Bracelet, which is an ode to the traditional Indian bangle. This exclusive-to-India creation is crafted in yellow gold.

Following the mangalsutra, which holds immense importance in the Indian heritage, Bvlgari has reinterpreted the kada, which holds a similar cultural prominence in India. The kada – or bangle – is not just something worn by women as a fashion statement, but also by men, often as an auspicious, powerful symbol.

Embracing the visionary codes of B.zero1, the B.zero1 Kada Bracelet expresses a concept of movement, circularity and light through a spiral design that evokes strength and determination. It has been uniquely conceived to be more voluminous than the conventional B.zero1 design, giving men the possibility to combine it with watches or other bracelets or to wear it as a stand-alone statement piece.

Commenting on the launch, Jean-Christophe Babin, Bulgari CEO, said, “With this important launch we wish to honor the Kada, recognizing its eternal meaning deeply rooted in Indian culture. The B.zero1 Kada bracelet is a jewel that embodies contemporary design and tradition at the same time, maintaining the consistency of the past reinterpreted in a contemporary form and with the same spirit of India, of yesterday and today.”

Friend of the brand, actor Ayushmann Khurrana, launched the Kada Bracelet in India. Not only is Bulgari enticing India with its country-specific products, but also making much headway in trying to understand the meaning of India, and its cultural symbols and nuances.

The India exclusive B.zero1 Kada Bracelet is available at Bulgari’s flagship boutiques at DLF Emporio, New Delhi, and Jio World Plaza, Mumbai. It can also be purchased online at bulgari.com.
