Bottega Veneta presents Women's and Men's Early Fall 2017 collection
December 5, 2016: Luxury fashion brand Bottega Veneta has presented a glimpse into its Women’s and Men’s Early Fall 2017 collection, which testifies to the trends of bright colours and uniquely juxtaposed materials.
The women’s collection is a continuation of the Spring/Summer season focusing on lightweight materials and joyful colors. Earthy brights such as ochre yellow, burnt orange, geranium red, china red and burgundy are off set by neutral powdery pastels and metal tones.
The silhouettes are sharp, precise, with lengths around the knee with an occasional playful gathering and draping touch for the dressier items. Materials range from cottons and silks, to mohair wool, silk jacquards and various weights and treatments of leather. Prints are small, geometric.
The City Knot bag is presented in cement colored French Calf. Shoes focus on square toe chunky heels which come in a mix of small geometric patterns and double buckled sandals.
Signature cubic zirconia jewelry pieces come in an exclusive new tone for the season. There are also a multitude of sterling silver and enamel stackable bracelets on display.
The men’s collection focuses on classic, yet innovative pieces. Prominent colors are darker tones as a deep moss green, denim blue, dark burgundy, espresso brown and neutrals as steel, smoke and cement tones.
Leather materials such as Cervo, Nappa and Nappa suede are prominently featured. Suiting is made in wool, cotton, and small geometric jacquard blends. Silhouettes are neatly tailored and close to the body. Pants are straight legged or mildly tapered towards the bottom.
Bags focus on weekend carriers, shoppers, document and brief cases, using new innovative techniques. Calf leather city sneakers are less formal, while lace ups and Chelsea boots display details of Bottega Veneta’s iconic link seam weave.
The eyewear, for both men and women, is a double construction in metal and acetate and comes in a variety of exclusive hues.
